I read up to chapter 327, and I will be stopping here. At the start, this novel was really good, and it had depth to it, especially the emotional aspect, when he had to watch all of his friends die of old age. The tone of the story was amazing. Between chapter 250-300 however, the story went downhill. It became clear that the author stopped putting in the effort that was put into the first 250 chapters. The novel just suddenly became your standard 'junk food' cultivation novel. The Mc's personality also suddenly changed and he stopped being lowkey, always attracting trouble, instead of being afraid of trouble as he was in the earlier chapters. In the earlier chapters he used to plan ahead be quick about ending his fights, but between chapter 250-300 he suddenly became your standard cultivation novel Mc, and he started draggin out his fights for absolutely no reason. I'm honestly disappointed as this novel was a breath of fresh air. It's too good to just go downhill like that.
This novel was very good in the begening, it was great, but after 300 or so chapter the author just changed or something becasue after 300 ch the mc just never learns forbbiden skills and neither does the author ever mentions that the mc is immortal for full 700 chapters, even the mc never uses his immortalty after that, it is truly sad what happend to this novel😔
