Bringing Culture to a Different World

The novel is pretty great its not the best but its unique story and way it does it is pretty great. Even though i might have problems with the novel its pretty nice and fun and i would reccomend it to anyone and i do hope there will be more novels like this one in future. The biggest problem with the novel is mtl after ch 390 everything is mtl so i would wait till ai got as good as humans or someone retranslated the novel, there is tool for this that i used to make the novel much better tales. readomni on most novels it worked well but on this one ai kinda killed it self, but i was using the free version and on paid it might have been better but i would still wait few more months and try few chapters to see if everything is translated well. If it is this novel is 9/10 great simmilar to Black tech internet cafe but instead of system its mc doing it and he isnt doing the bad job but its litle slow, at some point he could have given movies script to people to film for him like he made the first movie and all of them he did almost everything when he could have taught someone or paid them to do it and he could have made a lot more movies/tv series by the end its would be insanly easy its kinda weird how he doesnt do it. Expect the mtl and few other small problems the novel is insanly great and fun, it would be crime not to read this unique masterpiece. There are few small problems that i had like how mc kinda lost the focus at some point the plot was going but it felt like mc was more focusing on his 'enemy' and even that was kinda done weird at some point you feel they are weak at some they are strong its weird, and i feel too much story was focused on them. Mc also seems very unintrested in other stuff like for example meteorite might have hit the capital of some nation and he doesnt care, sure some of the times it wont affect him but still he could have idk helped or something? other than that anytime mc comes with something from history he throws it to someone else. . . The novel ended very fast like author could have made a lot more chapter just the last arc could have been made more but it would have been repeating what he did before, but still it feels litle short. The novel could use a lot more worldbuilding expect nations name i have no idea whats the world like and expect few nations we arent introduced any more plus no population numbers or even the number of nation in the world, which is litle weird cause in the novel he brings stuff from Earth into this world games/movies. . . so i do feel knowing the population of city/nation would give us more insight into how much mc has gone, plus The citys population changes a lot at start it was 1. 7m then 2m then 4m by the end and there is no way thats not some error cause there is no way city grew that much in the time of the novel the same is with time its litle confusing at some point it said ah this much time passed since mc came and i was thinking there is no way but then again yea that much probably passed. I also dislike how author limits the game spread plus with almost non existant worldbuilding i have no idea how far it goes or how impressive thing mc did is, like he could have million people watch a movie in capital but its two different things in the population of the capital is 1m or 1b, plus the spread seems way to slow like at some point i feel like even thought it said mc is "advancing" stuff it seems to not matter at all if you read the novel you will know what i mean by this if not sorry i wont spoil it.

I finished the story 2 weeks ago. I've been trying to find stories like this (like plagiarism to another world thingy lol) for a while now, glad I found this. I say, this one is worth it. Love the actions mix into it as well.

A fantastic parody novel where it is worth reading it till the end. The reactions from how the natives react to Earth's Culture is always something you would look for every chapter. Despite the MTLed translation of the novel at chapters 360+, it doesn't fail to present a fun and exciting story about recreating movies, games, and the internet into a world of Magic and Fantasy!

Good books. Good for people seeking good world building and a little bit of action but be ware action scenes are a bit on the rare side. Chinese made book that is not racist from the over 650 chapters i read. Also tackle social-economic problems in the novel’s fantasy world without bringing up communism or capitalism. It also not for people seeking chinese mc face slapping people.

I was hooked on this novel right from chapter 1 and I really enjoyed reading it. Unfortunately, the translation bites the dust at around ch 365 and I just couldn't continue with it. It's not unreadable but it feels like I was eating food cooked by a world-class chef and then suddenly I got served food made by someone who couldn't tell salt from sugar.

I very much like this novel. Every time there's a novel that has a similar plot to this, they always make the main character take the credit but thankfully the main character here is moral and actually gives credit to the original creator which isn't that important but the fact the he does that is already a step above novels like this. I like seeing the reactions of uncultured people from another world to stories of today and this novel does that perfectly. I have no issues with this novel at all except for the translation which looks like MTL in the later chapters. 10/10 novel for me.

I have been reading a lot of novels recently and my God it's like reading some horny Japanese author's dirty fantasy in every one of them. This one is one of the most fun readings I had in a long time. You don't need to take this too seriously. Just reading the reaction of the characters to the movies and games is already really fun, all other things happening in the novel are just a bonus. And I must say that the author has good taste in music, movies and other stuff. Please just PLEASE someone pick this up for translation I miss it dearly.

For someone who's really picky about what I want to read, I enjoyed this novel even though it has only 300+ chapters I enjoyed it(usually I read those with 1000+ chaps)

OK, so I'm giving it 3 stars not because it's bad but rather because it's mediocre.

What do I mean by this?
Well first of all you must understand what the story is about. The main character, Joshua, travels to another world and *introduction*.
Basically he introduces culture, as the title says, even though culture already exists but that's nitpicking.

Now that may be a very good idea for a story and be written masterfully, but overall it always feels like Joshua and whatever he introduces isn't original. I understand taking inspiration of real life things, but everything he does is something that alrwady exists.
OK, you may think, that's cool because he comes from our world.
But then why is the culture that alrwady existed on the world he goes to also as ours? They have magic and all that is mentioned about it and culture is that illusion magic is sometimes used in shows.

If I could use fire magic and make money with a show then I would probably do so, it's safer than fighting for cash, but that never happens.

Anyways, the characters are alright, nothing too out of this world and the story telling is also alright. The best parts for me is when the story isn't talking about the main character, but instead of the sidecharacters, like the elves and the tree.

At the same time I ask myself why no one in the illusion magi ever thought of making a "movie" (as in an illusion that lasted for a movie)

Well those are some of the things that I have to comment about the story.

Overall it's alright, good enough to pass time and better than most stories, albeit it's nothing too great. I'll probably keep reading this, mostly to read more or the little world building there is.

60 chapters in and Im loving it. it might be because I like disney movies and used to play hearthstone and was a big fan of Warcraft 3 and The Warcraft Lore but i'll definitely recommend this just cause it makes me smile so much and only the good ones make me smile.
