Review: A lot of really good things id like to say about this book. First off i really like how the system is written. Its not overpowered or even really mentioned outside some world building. As the story goes it lose's its meaning. I like that about system novels. The main character should work for the power they get and this mc does just that. I really like the mc and his decisions fit well with how he is written. The world building it really good. I quite like the way the author transitioned to different mythologies. The Bad: The story starts out really good. It doesn't get worse per se but its defiantly different. Some characters that were really well liked were either killed off or wrote out of the story to better fit the plot. Some people like that and others dont. im on the part thats more neutral. I will say that i was defiantly sad (mentally speaking) after what goes on in the later half. Characters that would've liked to see were not there and it made me sad. Again more emotionally than anything. Overall: Writing quality "4. 7" World Building "4. 8" Story progression "4. 5" Characters "4. 6" Liked it a lot and deserves a read.

CHARLOTTE MY BELOVED, IM SAD YOUR DEAD! NISHA TOO IM SORRY YOU CANT LIVE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS AND YOUR THE MC. But anyways this novel was good and all, but the ending was very dissapointing. Be warned, EVANGELINE IS A B*TCH!

Amazing novel, I really liked the characters, the moral dilemmas, and the story overall. Similar to a lot of people, the arcs that were given up on or ended too quickly (academy, etc. ) did make me a bit disappointed, but I really enjoyed the novel and it was an amazing read! Especially after catching up to Villain Retirement and seeing all the references to the Common Council, etc. :)

This story starts off fine enough, a bit too edgy and generic, but the character interactions were interesting so the start gets a pass from me. As it tries to set up a plot it goes downhill almost immediately. Everything that happens feels generic and contrived. Be it the reason why the government wants to arrest him, the d*mb*ss redemption arc they give the person who tried killing him and his sister or the cringy stuff the writer does with his relationships, it all makes the story not a great experience IMO If I was being more fair I might give this a 3, but I'm writing this review after an adult saw the MC kissing someone and ran down a hallway shouting ''omg they're kissing'' like a preschooler. And that moment, coupled with a few moments similar that happen in the story drop it another point

First novel I finished. I read Lord of the mysteries Vampire system Author's Point of view and many more but this one was the best don't let hate comments get to you.

It's a fun read if you don't try to diss every little thing that happens, I had a good time reading it. The sole reason I started it is because this novel and Villain Retirement are kinda linked, not much but it's still there. And also, there's greek and Norse mythology so there's that. If you want something to pass your time while you're stacking your favourite novel then this is it.

this is a mickey mouse novel man it starts off pretty aight and just snowballs off a cliff and keeps going like its absolutely mindblowing the twists youll see the author just make out of nowhere. shame my comments are gone but i dont think you should even see the novel to begin with lol i stuck with it cause i was in too deep to just give up + i like speedsters and systems so i was like aight ill keep going but so many random things happen and so many moments of wtf writing make it hard to genuinely care, at most i was just reading to finish or see wth the author creates next lol. overall not worth but i think theres some people who might get a laugh at the dice rolls that are each arc lol

Honestly if I wrote this review ore chapter 200 I'd have given it 4,maybe even 5 stars, but timeskips, especially un-uniform with everyone skipping randomly, characters dying off off screen, and nobody ever winning except for the "villian" of the story, not even the MC, I honestly can't say that I would recommend this to anyone I liked. He/she mixed up roughly 2 or 3 times a chapter, which is very immersion breaking. Honestly feels like the author had no real planned story, even a rough outline, or if he did he didn't show it to anyone and ask "dies this idea sound like it could possibly work". Feels like the author went with a game of thrones vibe, but didn't realize that that only worked cause there were so many characters people liked, and just ended up with a sad, pathetic attempt... Or whatever this is.
I'd honestly have preferred the ending of the book to be the explosion, I'd never have seen it coming and would have been like "wow" but the way it went? Feels like I just read a 300 chapter prolog to what you actually wanted the story to be, that could have been summarised in 1--> 3 chapters and avoided me wasting my time
Overall great beginning, but fell off as many original novels do.

It has it's ups and downs but overall it's been a pretty enjoyable/captivating reading and since the arc I'm at now has gotten me pretty riled up for the history I will give this one a 5 stars review. For the record I'm at chapter 314, and I definitely recommend it.

Why is this so good? For all the people who talk poorly of it, they have not reached chapter 200 and beyond. This has quickly entered my top favorites and I had no clue it would happen. I honestly felt dissuaded by the negative reviews but now I can only say the jokes on them for not being able to feel their heartbeat as fast as the protagonist can run.
