Return of the Mount Hua Sect

I'm at chapter 354 and I really enjoy this novel. The main character is the 🐐 and his personality is just 👌😩. There is a healthy amount of humour in there but also a lot of depth to the characters. His companions aren't just accesories he carries around with him, but have their own heartbreaking backstories. They learn along the way and are the way to a better and more stable future. The one thing that I really like but also really despise about this novel is that Chung Myung doesn't really get to see his former Sahyungs. It just hurts everytime we get a flashback or when he reminices about the old days. On the other hand, I really like the finality of it all. There is no second chance stuff where he just gets to save everyone he already knew. Instead he creates new bonds. I honestly hope that we get a reunion in heaven with Chung Myung, the current disciples and the former disciples at the end.

Just read it . You'll never regret start reading this. As a reader, i advise you to read the novel after reading the manhwa , that way you'll have an easy way to picture every scene and the characters personality in the novel. And congratulations if your mind starts to supply imaginary voice while reading the novel , then you probably have a healthy and creative mind. Like somehow as you read you can hear Chung Myung's voice . Fun fact , your mind made chung Myung’s voice based on how you perceive/understood his character. All i can say is that , this novel is worth reading and rereading again and again. Biga-nim's version of Mount Hua is peak of peak. Everything's here, chung myung, character development, realistic and logical techniques, no arrogant young master, the plum blossom tao, reality check, evil bas- ehem Evil husband material, no female lead love interest! Head crushing! We have Soso!

The beast protagonist of all time. Side characters aren't dumb or not important and the fight managrs to connect with the readers mind. Above all the protagonist is the 🐐

this is one of the best novels i've ever read. the plot was like he was killed from the battle against the demonic cult then reincarnated to a body where hundred years already passed since the war. then chung myung found out that the mount hua sect who contributed the greatest during war is now beneath the other sects and nearly forgotten. so he made it his goal to bring his beloved sect back to its rightful position and even higher. i liked the manhwa adaptation first but since it takes too long to get the updates i tried reading the novel and boy it didn't disappoint. it is action packed with comedy, i swear they're all funny and crazy esp the MC. i love how he's sometimes(debatable) unhinged but always sincere. i love watching him grow and travel with his seniors as he t*rt*r*—i mean teach them. maybe im just a crybaby but i also tear up at some very heartwarming and heartbreaking scenes. y'all are gonna love this or at least find this somehow interesting ^^

This novel so far is very good. MC is a bit crazy but smart crazy. Every action of his has some meaning which would be uncovered later, and he isn't that OP also, so the story has some value.

best murim/wuxia light novel I have read thus far, the fact it balances both comedy and badass moments throughout the whole story so well makes it's so enjoyable. AND to top it off, it's a tragedy, honestly peak

An amazing story, with great characters, humour, plenty of action, but some emotional scenes as well! I love it and can´t wait to see where the journey leads them! :)

Idk why I havent placed those 5 stars here sooner, been on break from novel for while to stack up chapters but this is honestly the best Murim based cultivation novel I have read up to date and comedy gold. Go and read it if you want to have good time and good laugh at mcs and his fellow "ascetics" antics

Huh. Does a this peak novel really need a comment ? Just peak. Incredible. Nothing else. The writting is really nice, the characters are well developed and CM is just the bst MC ever seen, and also, most importantly, no femele or trash romantic things, wich let the characters fully focus on the necessary things. I wish I could put a 6 stars.
