Under the Oak Tree (Web Novel KR)

I don’t know but this is the worse mc, i have even see or read with my thoughts keep wondering why on earth that this story gets to this 4. 9 star!! The story itself are good with the detail of the world and felling of the story, but the girl mc was too much of the stupidities, useless pieces of a woman only wanted to run around after her man. After 200 chapters with a little bit improvement, what a joke this can’t be mc at all and should only be side characters at most. Not worth the star.

I really wanted to add a fifth star but I'm sorry the ending felt rushed. When the publication on this website stopped because the author made a whole fuss about her work being translated in English against her consent (which I can kinda understand but was still very very much upset about it as an english reader lol), the story was so well unraveled. But after the last battle and that whole tournament thing it fell flat. I feel like Maxi still had a lot of growth possible, same for Riftan and even the story could have go on with the so called peace of the 7 kingdoms that appeared to be feeble. But no it stopped. And I really hoped for them to have children like a lot of readers, we got hyped a lot for that and even in the side stories it didn't happen. I REALLY FEEL FRUSTRATED. I don't know what happened on the author side, like did she get tired? Was she forced to end the novel? I don't know but compared to what was given to us and the quality of the storytelling at the start it was so meh. Basically I'm disappointed :/

honestly, reading this was so so worth it. I admit it has a pretty rough start, but it gets so so good! S tier character development and loveable side characters. I 100% recommend!!

**No spoilers just being careful** After 4 years of reading this series today I finally finished it after officially buying the novels a few months ago and re reading the whole series. Such a masterpiece, the ending has much to be desired in some aspects like most series, especially when you are a reader like me who wants to know every little bit of detail, (still saddens me the author got pissy and cancel her plans of after stories about the other characters. ) This was a fun ride, still can’t believe after 4 years I add another series so close to my heart to the sadly growing pile of ending stories. **PS. If you are on the ropes to read this or not truly give it a try, their relationship starts rough but by the end they have one of the purest closest relationships I have ever seen in a series, truly a worthy read, even through all the painful moments. ** Edit: Good news, read up on it, apparently she took it back and has been planning a few side stories for a few months, yay.

The story is a massive disappointment. The main character is misunderstood and timid. The story starts off with multiple misunderstandings between husband and wife. I was looking forward to all of this being cleared up and for the couple to finally have an understanding of each other and perhaps even for the husband to feel a little bad about treating her a little harshly. Instead, the misunderstands only increase and also ends up multiple more people misunderstanding her. At this point, I feel like the story is a massive joke, how come the author only writes misunderstandings? It feels like the author is only capable of squeezing the same trope. I feel like it's ridiculous that the story has a 4. 9 star rating on this site.

I have started novel bcoz I finished manhwa till latest chapter well thats same old stories of historical love but this is one of the good at that it defines its character smoothly and struggle part was good to build up story so I recommend it to read it its a great love story. I just came for some spoiler for future event I recommended manhwa better.

Awesome book and totally captures one's imagination. There are so many issues, problems, and characters that make this novel so interesting. The loving couple is perfectly described, the story is sometimes funny, some other time sad, but it's great how the characters are developed their own growth to overcome their flaws. The Medieval magical setting is perfectly described and the reader can imagine castles and villages. So if you want some emotional rollercoaster read then this should be for you! 4. 2/5!

my god. They will probably destroy me but, I think this novel is an essay for young girls' fantasy of Prince Charming, MC can't even talk and everything is misunderstood. Also, there is too much love seance in the book, and I think it's unnecessary, the book was bad enough already. Dude I'm proud of myself for being patient and reading. sorry girls.

I binge read this light novel in few days and am desperate to get the book 2 in English. . . Lovely! Does anyone know when the book 2 release date is due? I saw August in some of the comments. . .
